Description Stanislav Brabec 2009-12-16 08:42:09 UTC
Bubble3d screensaver sometimes causes hang of Xorg. Killing of screensaver does not help.

X.Org X Server 1.6.5
Release Date: 2009-10-11

(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules//drivers/radeon_drv.so
(II) Module radeon: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
        compiled for 1.6.5, module version = 6.12.4

(--) RADEON(0): Chipset: "ATI Radeon 9250 5960 (AGP)" (ChipID = 0x5960)

openSUSE 11.2 i586
xf86-video-ati-6.12.4

Is this still an issue with mesa from git?

Don't know for OP (seems like it was use here obsolete XAA) but for me not anymore, hava the same 5960 chip here and it works OK tested with current stack kernel 3.14-rc4, xorg 1.15 and git mesa 10.2.
