running wmaker+xcompmgr:
in gtk apps (not gtk2) menus and tooltips are broken.

they seem to be blended in addictive instead of alpha blending, so the result it
is a almost white rectangle, and the text is unreadable.

really this apply to sylpheed-1.0.0 gtk1
i'm searching other apps that can reproduce the problem

gtk1 has several known issues with Composite, bad rendering being the least of
the problem.  this is almost certainly not a bug in X.
