Description Shawn Starr 2010-02-02 14:14:24 UTC
If I enable KMS, the display goes blank and does not come back. I can SSH into the machine however. I do have this computer hooked up to a KVM switch. I was watching the machine boot up on the screen and as soon as it switches into KMS it went blank.

KVM Switch is a 4 port StarView VGA connector only, the radon card has only DVI connectors so I use a VGA-to-DVI converter connector.

pci information of the card:

Can you attach your dmesg and xorg log? If the KVM doesn't provide enough load for load detect and doesn't pass an edid, there's not a lot the driver can do. You may have to force the display on.

Close it - *broken distro cough* issue... I really.. really am beginning to hate debian again...
