I would like to see the improvements on the structure of the configuration that explained in conf.d/README to make them applied efficiently to the users' and the distro-specific configuration. Also this would helps for some languages that uses same script but different fonts such as Indic, with putting their configuration file prior to 65-nonlatin.conf in current numeric order. I posted the rough idea at http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20911#c101 though, it needs to be polished more.
