Description Dante Ashton 2010-02-21 16:01:51 UTC
Hello there.

I had filed this bug on bugs.kde.org, as I thought it was an interface problem...I was told, slightly rudely, that it was upstream's problem...

Anyway; here's my bug (or feature request, really)

KPackageKit's main problem (for me, at least) is that it's interface only searches queries, and does not allow for the browsing/discovery of the packages.

I would ask that an interface, perhaps somewhat similar to the Ubuntu Software Centre be created for easy discovery of new applications.

Thanks for your time :)

We moved the upstream bugtracker to GitHub a long time ago. If this issue still affects you please re-create the issue here: https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/issues

Sorry for the impersonal message, and fingers crossed your issue no longer happens. Thanks.
