Description Kacper Perschke 2005-03-14 09:02:06 UTC
I did get a problem that defeault modes are to "fast" for my minitor so I tried
to tell the server to use another ones given in the xorg.conf file, but nothing
changed and log shows that they hasn't been honored.

Change your VertRefresh to 60-85 in your config file.

Also, instead of mode_name in your Display Section, just use "1280x1024" it'll
use the built in mode with the correct refresh rate.

The intel driver uses the BIOS to set modes, so defining your own modes doesn't
really make sense.

Closing, as it's not a bug, just the way the driver works.
