If I suspend (through lid close) and Compiz is activated I see the login screen after resume. If Compiz isn't activated I see a black screen but through changing to console and back I am able to use X again. Both behaviors doesn't appear with Ubuntu Karmic (Kernel 2.6.31 and -intel 2.9.0). http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41756010/BootDmesg.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41756027/XorgLog.gz http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41756028/XorgLogOld.gz http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41756031/i915_error_state.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41756014/IntelGpuDump.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41756015/Lspci.txt More files are available in the Launchpad bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/545304 If anything else is needed let me know. According to Launchpad this might be a duplicate of https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27146 .
Suspend seems to work if the lid stays open so it is most likely a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 27146 ***
