log for seat 1

On a multiseat system (2 seats) 'soon' after X starts, either with startx or gdm, the whole system freezes. Clocks cease running and the second tick on the speaker ceases. This behavior is consistent, it always happens.

This began after I upgraded X on Debian Sid from 7.4 to 7.5 on the 26th of January of this year (2010).

I just noted that the Xorg.0.log copied with bug 567700 is wrong: I reported the problem apparently running with 7.4. I attach the right log, but there is Xorg.1.log also of the second seat. No errors appear in the logs.

Since 7.4 I have to run Aivils Stoss' Faketty (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Multiseat_Configuration/faketty) because otherwise any text entered on seat2 appears on the active VT of seat1.

X starts correctly but the system freezes after about 7 minutes. If seat one is on a VT there appears spots on the screen when the system freezes.

I'd love to know what to do about this.

xorg.conf for multiseat setup

After upgrading to 1.7.6 on Debian Sid and upgrading the driver to NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.36.15, I can no longer reproduce this problem.

1.7.6 on Debian is a bunch of packages among which:
# xorg 1:7.5+5
# xserver-xorg 1:7.5+5
# xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.6-1
# xserver-common 2:1.7.6-1
# xserver-xorg-input-all 1:7.5+5
# xserver-xorg-input-evdev 1:2.3.2-4
# xserver-xorg-input-kbd 1:1.4.0-1
