what does "not well rendered" exactly mean? could you provide a screenshot? it seems to work perfectly for me

the blue part on top and bottom of the first page is covered by a blank one, same happens with page 2. Thanks Carlos.

Thanks Pedro. You are using cairo 1.8.x, right? The document uses blend modes, which has been already fixed but requires cairo >= 1.9.4.
