Papyon is a Python library for MSN, fork of pymsn, it's currently used by telepathy-butterfly and lives under the Telepathy project, but now that other clients such as ASMN2 and Emesene are starting to use it it would be nice to have it live under it's own project.
Ok, we can do this, can you please provide the information requested on http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/NewProject ? (I know it says draft, but we need at least that much information.) Also, if you want bugs mass-moved to the new product, please give me some selection criteria and I'll make that happen.
Project name : papyon Unix group : papyon # Services : [x] git hosting [x] bugzilla [x] mailing lists [x] release upload # who should be able to approve new members into your project Don't know if you need just one person who will approve all the others or the lists of those somewhat considered maintainers of the project, in that case : Youness Alaoui <kakaroto@users.sourceforge.net> fdo account: kakaroto Louis-Francis Ratté-Boulianne <louisfrancis.rb@gmail.com> Jonny Lamb <jonny.lamb@collabora.co.uk> fdo account : jonny Olivier Lê Thanh Duong <olivier@lethanh.be> fdo account : olethanh # Git We only need one git repository named papyon with the description : MSN client library written in Python # Bugzilla Only one general component should be sufficient I think Default assignee should be a papyon-bugs ML Bugs to move are all the bugs in the Telepathy project, component papyon # Mailing lists A general mailing list for discussion called papyon And a mailing list to be default assignee for all bugs called papyon-bugs I'm volunteering to be the admin to both
Project created and bugs moved. Enjoy, and sorry for the delay.
Thanks Tollef! (In reply to comment #2) > # Services : > [x] git hosting > [x] bugzilla > [x] mailing lists > [x] release upload I'm guessing "release upload" means some papyon webspace? If so, then this doesn't seem to have been created yet. Also, would it be possible to get a wiki too? Sorry for the endless requests!
You can drop releases and whatever in /srv/www.freedesktop.org/www/software on annarchy. As for wiki, please just use the main freedesktop.org wiki under http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/papyon .
