Description Michel MENGIS 2005-03-22 06:54:08 UTC
here is the patch for intel 915GM for kernels 2.6.1x.
U need to get intel's latest driver from intel's website and to patch it before
installation.

Hmm ... shouldn't this be applied to the Linux kernel?
Comment 4 Dave Airlie 2005-04-16 16:50:59 UTC
No it just fixes the drm that Intel post on their website, the kernel already
has support in 2.6.11 (maybe 2.6.12, the PCI id was wrong..), Intel provide this
for older kernels and distros..

In fact from a quick look, I'm sceptical this patch will work properly..
drm_agp_t was removed for a reason...
Comment 5 Stefan Dirsch 2005-04-17 02:55:28 UTC
I added Andrew Grover of Intel to this bugreport. He might be able to help
here.
Comment 6 Alan Hourihane 2005-07-12 04:52:37 UTC
This patch is against agpgart and not relevant for the DRI source tree.

As Dave has already said, support is in later kernels as well, so this isn't
required and only patches intel's driver.

Closing.
