Description scottl 2010-05-18 19:46:24 UTC
I am using the xorg-edgers PPA and after yesterday's upgrade, X will no longer start.

My kdm.log has the following line in it:

symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/intel_drv.so: undefined symbol: intel_sync

I believe it is related to the recent change here:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel/commit/?id=5e04a81369dfc76bbc1ebbd4db00c23e71eb9e1c

Thanks

intel_sync was purged from the driver. Check your distributors patches.
