RFE: glxgears should have an option to explicitly select the X visual being
used.
That may be quite usefull for debugging purposes such as bug 2868 ("Mesa seems
to be unable to handle 30bit TrueColor visuals").

Prototype patch

Prototype patch, still needs some adjustments (usage message needs to be
updated etc.) ...
