Running 'manywin -s 5' works fine on 7.4 and 7.9, fails on 7.7.1. I upgraded Ubuntu from 9.04 (Mesa 7.4) to Ubuntu 10.04 (Mesa 7.7.1) and shared textures stopped working for ATI and Intel cards, NVIDIA cards run fine. ATI and Intel use Mesa whereas NVIDIA does not so this seems like a Mesa issue. I then tested the latest 7.9 from xorg-edgers and that seems to work fine.
I pulled in the 7.9 version of glx on top of 7.7.1 and the problem is still there.

If this is reproducible with a supported release, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal: ubuntu-bug xorg Also, please feel free to subscribe me to it.
