starting with the 6.8.99.14 snapshot, on linux systems, the X server can print
its own backtrace when it crashes. please confirm that these bugs are still
valid with 6.8.99.14 or later, and if they are please attach a the server log
from the crash.
Comment 4 T. Hood 2005-09-25 03:37:07 UTC
Does this still occur with the latest xorg release?
Comment 5 Philipp Kirchner 2005-09-25 07:56:19 UTC
It now works with the latest Release from Gentoo, 6.8.2-r5, but i don't know how
this corresponds to the original freedesktop.org-releases.
Sorry to bother you, now it is working and i can switch vt's and use software
suspend.
