Description aceman 2010-07-04 09:26:04 UTC
I see a missing part of the scene when playing Scorched3d. It is triangle shaped region originating from the bottom of the window. It only happens when using KMS. UMS renders fine. I am using xorg 1.7.7, mesa 7.8.1, radeon driver 6.13, kernel 2.6.34.

Oh, the card is Radeon HD 4350, OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R600 (RV710 954F) 20090101 x86/MMX+/3DNow!+/SSE2 TCL

The missing area is even larger with Mesa 7.9-rc2, kernel 2.6.35, radeon driver 6.13.2.
Comment 4 aceman 2011-01-12 12:25:07 UTC
Still a problem with Mesa 7.10, kernel 2.6.36.2, radeon driver 6.13.99
Comment 5 Jerome Glisse 2011-03-08 09:51:44 UTC
Please try with r600g, the classic driver is no longer actively supported
Comment 6 aceman 2012-01-31 10:19:04 UTC
With R600g, Mesa 8.0rc2 it looks much better, the triangle is not missing and there are much more scene details and bugs fixed.
