I have a problem with connecting my ICQ account with Empathy. When I'm try connect, after all forms for connection, Empathy can not open connection. I try defolt "login.messeging.aol.com" and well-working in Pidgin/qutIM "login.icq.com", no results. Few seconds Empathy trying connect, but after what "Mistake: connect impossible". Where is no this problem in Pidgin and qutIM, other im-messengers, but I want try Empathy for reason integration with Evolution and all contacts. Maybe needs special syntonys for Empathy for good connect, please fix it as possible. (Sorry my bad English)

Pidgin connects O.K. at this version to the ICQ network.
Heh. Silly me. The password was at invalid keyboard layout. So my comments and versions are irrelevant, a bug does not trigger. If a bug triggers for anyone, let them report versions of their Telepathy software.
(In reply to comment #0) > I have a problem with connecting my ICQ account with Empathy. What version of telepathy-haze do you have? What version of libpurple do you have? Are telepathy-haze and Pidgin using the same version of libpurple?

Simon, the problem is mine, not a bug. Incorrect password. Your questions are irrelevant. My versions are irrelevant.
Ah, sorry. Your question is for denstarche.

Hi Simon, I wrote this bug almost a year ago, since then I changed a DE from the Gnome on KDE, I now don't have these packages so I can tell nothing about them, sorry
I've just confirmed that I can put an ICQ account online with telepathy-haze, so I'm closing this as WORKSFORME. If anyone else experiences the same problem in future, please open a new bug with component version numbers and logs (e.g. see <https://live.gnome.org/Empathy/Debugging>).
