How to reproduce:

Boot without X (runlevel 3) and with drm.debug=0xff
Login as root on the console.
Login as root via SSH.
Captured the register dump with: intel_reg_dumper > regs.1
Run: pm-suspend
Wait for suspend to happen.
Press the power button.
The computer comes back to life (net connections are resumed), but the screen remains black (no backlight even).
At this point I captured dmesg in dmesg-1.log.

Possible dupe of #28739.  Please check the patch in that bug.

I confirm that this patch:

 make sure panel power is enabled on eDP   (1.17 KB, patch)

fixes the problem on this laptop.
