Description Ancoron 2010-07-25 23:21:42 UTC
Hi *,

I have built a 2.6.35-rc6 kernel and included the radeon power management patches. I'm running an Ubuntu 10.04.1.

I've done this since 2.6.35-rc4 without problems and since 2.6.35-rc6 I'm always getting a lot of kernel oopses after some hours. Btw. I'm also using the latest radeon driver/mesa stack from xorg-edgers PPA.

I don't know exactly if it's a kernel/drm problem or if it is something triggered by the driver itself, but the Xorg.0.log is fine.

The oopses look like this:

What power management patches? They are already included in 2.6.35.

Oh well, I just saw. Maybe that's the problem. I'll test that.

Yepp, that seems to be the issue, sorry.
