On Ubuntu, I can't use my Ekiga, VoipWise and Numbox SIP accounts on Empathy, I can't connect the account while I can use them on software Ekiga. For information, Gizmo, Ippi, IpTel, Sipphone are OK on both Empathy and Ekiga. Ubuntu : 10.04 LTS Empathy : 2.30.1.1 and 2.30.2 (PPA)
Original report on Bugzilla : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=626055
Reassigning to the component that connects to SIP. (ekiga.net accounts not working is a known problem with their server, I think, although recent telepathy-sofiasip might work around it.)
Please attach Ekiga logs from the "sofiasip" category
(In reply to comment #3) > Please attach Ekiga logs from the "sofiasip" category Gah. This should mean Empathy. I need logs for VoipWise and NumBox. Packet captures of SIP traffic could help too. Try to set the transport option to UDP or TCP (or TLS, if supported) in SIP account settings.
For ekiga (Kamailio) I think it is this problem: http://lists.qutecom.org/pipermail/qutecom-dev/2011-January/002953.html (606 in response to an unroutable Contact header). I'm on it.
