Hello, When I create a new muc room using telepathy-gabble 0.9.15 (empathy 2.30.2 on Ubuntu 10.4), no one but me can join this room. First, I reported the bug to empathy developers on bugzilla https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=627109 We made some tests : - I forced telepathy-gabble version to 0.8.12 and all worked fine with empathy 2.30.2. - I tried with two xmpp servers (conference.jabber.org and chat.jabberfr.org) with gabble 0.9.15 they both failed. The developers suggested it could be a problem with gabble and told me to report a bug here. I already made logs on bugzilla, I can make others if you want.
This isn't a blocker; but it is reasonably severe, if it's a bug in Gabble. I just tried to create new rooms on conference.collabora.co.uk, conference.jabber.org and chat.jabberfr.org using telepathy-gabble 0.9.17 and they all worked fine. I suspect a transient server issue. Can you still reproduce this?
telepathy-gabble 0.9.15 works with conference.collabora.co.uk it still doesn't work with conference.jabber.org and chat.jabberfr.org strange isn't it ?

Can you get a new Gabble log showing starting a MUC on conference.jabber.org failing with Gabble; and with the same account, try with Pidgin, getting a jabber debug log from there too. Attach both here.
Closing this as WORKSFORME, since it works for me; if this still fails with Gabble but works with Pidgin, please reopen, attaching logs from both.
