Wow, a first bug entry :-) I'm opening this bug to track the support for upek device 147e:1000. This is already reported on: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=474994 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/301567 This device is not supported by fprint. I don't know if this driver is closer to upeksonly, upekts, upektc or the new upeke2. I can provide usb trace if needed as upek's proprietary driver works. What information is needed to implement a new driver?
There's a patch for it in the thread: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.fprint/1541 though it needs cleaning up.
