Empathy 2.32 currently requires development branches of telepathy-glib and Mission Control, and works best with a development version of telepathy-gabble. We should make stable releases of at least those projects so we can say they're the recommended versions: - Mission Control 5.6.x - telepathy-glib 0.12.x - telepathy-gabble 0.10.x I'll use this as a metabug for bugs that, in my opinion, need fixing before we branch. I'm also considering making a milestone release of telepathy-spec 0.20.0, so we can say that those stable branches implement it. Stable branches of other CMs are optional.
telepathy-spec 0.19.13 is a 0.20 milestone release candidate. telepathy-glib 0.11.15 is a 0.12 release candidate. Gabble 0.9.18 is a 0.10 release candidate. Mission Control is still in progress. For the other CMs we can decide case-by-case whether a stable branch is justified. They can follow after the GNOME release, with less urgency.

bug #30134 (for tp-glib) isn't fully resolved, so I'm adding it as a blocker. Hopefully it shouldn't require any further work, but it's a blocker either way.
After fighting with g-i for a while, stable branches exist.
