Description Albert Astals Cid 2005-04-13 14:17:59 UTC
Files created with CanoScan Toolbox 4.1.1.0 dated Oct 2002 for Win 98, 2k, ME
and XP using a Canon LiDE 50 can not be opened at all when not using the
libjpeg compilation option, i suggest making libjpeg a "must have"

This is pretty cool, using libjpeg turned out to be a pretty good idea.
However, we already default to using libjpeg if it's available, and while I want
to remove the builtin jpeg decoder entirely, I think we should wait a couple of
releases more.

I'm leaving the bug open for now, but I'm not going to do anything about for now.

Actually, I'm closing this bug now. I don't see a reason to actively remove the
jpeg code when we can configure it away.
