detailed description:

mesa xdemo glxsnoop failed with Segmentation fault, if I selected the windowsID of glxgears as the input parameter.

Reproduce steps:
----------------
1.xinit& 
2.gnome-session
3.glxgears
4.xwininfo
5.get the windowsID of glxgears  
6. Mesa_progs/demos/src/xdemos/glxsnoop  windowsID

Kristian, could you take a look at this?  You've spent more time in that part of the DRI2 code than anyone.
