Say, where do you get all these players/mobiles from? :-) Simple, I ask every friend/visitor to hand me their phones and mp3 player when I see them and then I patch usb.ids and media-player-info ;-) I will publish soon a blog post to encourage more people to send me their devices info. While talking with teuf about it he encouraged me to automate some part of the process so I started something with quickly : https://launchpad.net/~jonathan.ernst/+archive/media-player-informer Problem is : I never wrote a line of Python before... so if you or someone else would give me a hand at it it'll be much appreciated !
