Description Roman Weber 2010-10-27 12:21:03 UTC
Hi

When /etc/mtab is not writable (Like in readonly envs) the mount fails.

Is it possible to add a flag to the mount and automount units which I can define that systemd should use 'mount -n' instead of 'mount' or a check if /etc/mtab is writable then 'mount' else 'mount -n'?

Thanks in advance

Roman

Our recommendation is to symlink /etc/mtab to /proc/mounts to solve this problem.
