Normal users without special knowledge should file bugs with status UNCONFIRMED, QA members will confirm (or set DUP, reject, ...)

Please allow UNCONFIRMED for LibreOffice and make default ASAP!

What's so difficult with handling this issue?
Comment 3 Tollef Fog Heen 2010-11-18 12:53:58 UTC
First, please stop being so demanding. We're all volunteers and you behaving in what I consider a rude manner does not make me want to help you.

This needs a bugzilla upgrade to work properly, it seems. I've made unconfirmed available so new bugs can be filed in that state, but since we grant everybody canconfirm, it will default to NEW. This is an upstream bug. I'll close it here, we already have a bug open about upgrading to a newer bugzilla version, and unless that fixes it, there's not really much we can do.

Currently it's good to have UNCONFIRMED, everything else can wait.
