Description Kean Johnston 2005-05-02 12:43:37 UTC
The SCO and UnixWare ports have suffered from bitrot over the last year or so. I
will attach a jumbo patch that fixes that. There was a great deal of
inconsistency in how the platforms were named in the source, and part of this
patch corrects that. SCO OpenServer Release 5 is now known as __SCO__, and
UnixWare 7.1.x is known as __UNIXWARE__. The patch fixes a few other minor
glitches I found, most notably in xorgcfg. The ChangeLog entry has the full details.

These do not include Changes for xterm. I will submit those to Tom Dickey
separately.

The patches appear to have been lost in the bugzilla disk death and I don't
see any sign that these have been committed yet - are these still needed?
If so, can you either reattach the patches or commit to CVS?
Comment 5 Kean Johnston 2005-10-09 17:39:21 UTC
I will update the patches against HEAD, since the ones that got lost were
against a very old HEAD. Once they are reviewed and I have permission, I will
commit.

Patches against today's HEAD

This is a large patch, which doesn't lend itself to being split up, as it
almost all deals with the same stuff: updating the SCO port. There are a very
few isolated things that are not strictly updting the port, but are required
for SCO systems nonetheless, like making the xdm/config/Xsession file a
pre-procedded one instead of a static file in teh source tree.

Looks like the old ChangeLog attachment got lost too. Here's a new one.

this was committed to HEAD ages ago
