Description Marc-Andre Lureau 2010-12-14 06:52:09 UTC
Original bug reported by Michal Haško in:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=627918

Description of problem:
It would be nice to have a shortcut to terminate spice client, because when one
is working in full screen mode, one has to switch to windowed mode and then
click the window close button.

The spice-space documentation
(http://spice-space.org/docs/spice_user_manual.pdf) shows a similar shortcut
(Shift - F6) to disconnect from a server.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. spice to a vm
2. swtich to a full screen mode (if not already)
3. press the spice client termination shortcut (to be implemented)

we would need a new optionnal hotkey in virt-viewer

This is the kind of use cases that should be addressed by http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/spice-devel/2014-November/017893.html
(press the 'release grab' shortcut and then press alt+f4 to exit).

I agree, with the ungrab shortcut, you can press alt-f4 to exit and so it addresses this RFE.
