No, don't do that. Use gpg --edit-key and add an RSA encryption subkey to your original RSA key. DSA keys are too short nowadays.

It forces me to expand my poor knowledge of gpg :) Hope this time I did them all right. 1. use -edit-key to the key id, I generated a RSA encrypt subkey to the original key I posted 2. now I use '--export -a' to see if I did generate a new key ---ye, the public key is different and verbally longer 3. update the key to the server also by using '--send-keys' The gpg attachment is updated again.
