bug report from Bug Buddy

Hi,

I've downloaded and installed RC2 on my Netbook with Mandriva Linux 2010.1. Installation went well, but everytime when I want to close LibO, I get a crash report from Bug Buddy (the Gnome crash reporting tool), that tells me, that the process soffice has crashed. I will attach the report to this issue, maybe it contains something useful.

Something - maybe unrelated - I also installed the German language pack for LibO. I was able to change the UI once to German, but then when the crash report appeared, thee next start of LibO was with an English UI again.

Btw, it doesn't matter if I close LibO with the x in the upper right corner, or File > Close or File > Quit.

Thanks for looking into this.

NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.3.0 RC2 - WIN XP German UI [OOO330m18 (build 3.3.0.2)]". Linux specific?

Sigrid: Can you please provide us with a backtrace as described here?

http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#How_to_get_backtrace_.28on_Linux.29

That will help a lot, thank you!

Jan: yes, I will try to get a backtrace.

But isn't it kind of Murphy's law, that once I decide to do a backtrace, that LibO doesn't crash any more? But I'll try more times, I'm sure it will start crashing again.

Hi,

I think this bugreport can be closed.
It appears, that I had some problems with RAM that wasn't working correctly. (My netbook froze at random times). I've changed RAM today and so far I couldn't reproduce this problem anymore.

Thanks nonetheless for looking into this.
