Description Daniil Bratashov 2010-12-24 00:54:46 UTC
Seems that it's a regression introduced in latest rc's. Office2007-style 3d bar charts are not drawn (empty squares in presentation mode, no 3d bars itself in slide editing mode), all types of bar charts don't keep size after editing, so only part of graph is shown after edit (but office 2007 charts appears after editing). Charts are inserted as embedded excel graphs, not images.

test for edit problem

To reproduce click on chart and then exit from edit mode.
Comment 2 Daniil Bratashov 2010-12-24 01:13:45 UTC
problem with 2007 graphs is not reproducible with simple single-graph presentation.

and it is not office 2007 chart, it's made to be similar, but it's pre-2007, cannot reproduce it with both 2003 and 2007 MSO.

Daniil: Please, regression since which version exactly? It will help us to find the bug more effectively...

Thank you a lot for your report!

Don't know exactly, this file is affected by slow loading bug (like https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30770), it's clearly appears in rc2 and may be in rc1 or latest pre and was not thoroughly tested. Seems that absence of graph is connected with data, linked to xls table in separate file, that is missing (however it is working in MS Powerpoint), but I cannot reproduce it with MSO2003 and currently cannot contact author of original presentation to ask permission and send it here.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
