Error log created after the crash

LibreOffice crashes (program window disappears without any warning) when I try to enter "LibreOffice Help". This error occurs both when I press F1 as well as when I try to enter it via the menu. It also does not matter which component (writer, calc, etc.) of LibreOffice wants to enter the online help.

This bug is also present later RCs and the final 3.3.0 release. Problem is as described- LibreOffice crashes if the help is launched either from the menu or from pressing F1.

Further info - Running on Xubuntu 10.10, x86 version. Installed by downloading these:
LibO_3.3.0_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz
LibO_3.3.0_Linux_x86_langpack-deb_en-GB.tar.gz
LibO_3.3.0_Linux_x86_helppack-deb_en-GB.tar.gz
and running the command "sudo dpkg -i *.deb" in each of the debs folders.
It may be significant that there is an error during this process. I can't remember which packages, but the error implies that two packages want to overwrite the same file.

As of version 3.3.1 (LibreOffice 3.3.1 OOO330m19 (Build:8) tag libreoffice-3.3.1.2) this problem doesn't occur on my system anymore.
As Steve Horsley said, with former versions there also was an error message when installing LibreOffice (think it was the help .debs). This is now gone too.

Not totally resolved.

I have still had this problem with LibreOffice 3.3.2 (current 14 April 2011). While I haven't kept a log and have made changes that prevent me from replicating it (no longer have file which, when loaded, causes crash), I have a possible trigger (loading Ooo file) and workaround. Problem manifested several times with Calc and, as far as I remember, Write. Windows 7, Java 6.24 and earlier versions. After loading a file created with OpenOffice (3.x; not sure which version) in Excel format, if the Help windows is opened, a word typed in the box in the Find tab, the program crashes when starting the find. There have never been any obvious problems with the file, was opened and edited often with Ooo. Reopening Calc offers the recover option; after rejecting recovery the Calc window closes, and Calc will not load again. In the Windows Task Manager as many copies of Calc show as have been opened. Usually killing them restores functioning; on one occasion rebooting was the only possibility. This seems to be down to the file being opened; copying the sheets into a new file (also saved in Excel format) seems to have fixed the problem. I can't say whether the problem is limited to Excel format.

The problem is not down to the one file, or to Calc; it has happened with Writer with an existing Microsoft Word .DOC file that I didn't create.
