KDE integration is not working, the KDE file picker is not offered on the General Options tab and the default LibreOffice file picker is used in its place.

This had been fixed in certain versions of OpenOffice, certainly it is in the MIB backport of OpenOffice3.2, is it possible to fix it in LibreOffice please?

Well it is working here for sure, so in order to do anything here we need more than just screenshots, e.g. a description of the system.

This is still not working, I have the same problem too.
Search the Internet for --KDE 4 OpenOffice LibfreOffice integration-- and you will notice that it did work for KDE 3 not for KDE 4.

I'm running an out of the box (DVD) Fedora 14 KDE spin and used the OpenOffice Packages from that DVD. That version still does not offer KDE 4 integration. All the file dialogs (Open, Save, Save As) do not follow the KDE 4 user interface. Instead I get the Gnome or the build in file dialogs.

Seems to be working for me now.

Mandriva 2011
LibreOffice 3.4.2

Try LibreOffice instead of OpenOffice

Can we reopen this issue, or should I file new one?

KDE integration on LibreOffice 3.5.3 downloaded from LO website does not work. I am using Debian testing (KDE 4.7.4, Qt 4.8.1) on amd64 machine.

I did dpkg -i *.deb, as readme states. With program/kdefilepicker I have managed to see that LO requests libkio.so.4, libkdecore.so.4 and libkdeui.so.4 shared modules, while these are installed in .so.5 version. I have made symlinks. Then I had to install libqt3-mt, which is archaic qt3 library (hey, there will be qt5 this year!). When I had all dependencies set, I have found that it complains about /opt/libreoffice3.5/ure-link/lib/libstdc++.so.6. I have renamed it, so LO falls back to system wide libstdc++. Then kdefilepicker shows just:
./program/kdefilepicker: symbol lookup error: ./program/kdefilepicker: undefined symbol: _ZN3KIO9NetAccess12lastErrorMsgE

At any point I was unable to see any KDE integration.

On the other hand, KDE integration of LO from Debian repo *is* working.

Best regards
Mirosław Zalewski

I am running 3.5.3.2 with KDE 3.8.3 on Linux 3.3.6-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 13 10:52:32 CEST 2012 x86_64 GNU/Linux and it is all working fine. Possibly down to your distro?
Comment 9 Luboš Luňák 2012-06-06 06:19:31 UTC
Please file a separate bugreport for your certainly separate issue (kdefilepicker and libkdecore.4 are for KDE3, so in fact first even check your system and what packages you use).
