Description Barbara Duprey 2011-01-26 08:53:47 UTC
I tried to create a list box form control following the instructions in the Writer Guide (Chapter 15, p 15-16). The string typed into the properties for the list entries became a quoted string, and the whole string became the only option. I tried inserting the intermediate quotes that were shown in the text, and also tried using a vertical bar rather than a semicolon as the separator, and various additions like blanks, but in any case the whole string became the only option.

On Mac OSX 10.6.6 I can confirm this behaviour in a simple Writer document without being bound to a data source.

Same behaviour in 3.3.1 RC2.

FWIW I can't seem to get this to work in :

NeoOffice 3.1.2 Patch 4
OOo 3.2.1
OOo 3.3.0 final

Could you provide some more detailled steps to reproduce? As a developer I don't necessarily want to look for the extact page of the guide... An extract of the guide could fit as well.

Just got updated instructions (thanks, tomwebb@fairpoint.net!). Apparently the separation operator has changed from semicolon to Shift-Enter.
