I have exactly this same problem with libreoffice 3.4.1 on fedora 14 x64. $ java -version java version "1.6.0_26" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode) $ /usr/sbin/alternatives --config java There is 1 program that provides 'java'. Selection Command ----------------------------------------------- *+ 1 /usr/java/default/bin/java I just installed this version but with previous java version (1.6.0_25) it was the same. I haven't installed these packages: - OpenJDK - IcedTea - GCJ With libreoffice 3.4.0 I didn't have this problem. As thangalin, java works.
