Description Luuk 2011-01-30 05:33:45 UTC
When i create a new Calc document, and do a Format/Cells Calc wont
respond anymore.
The only way of getting out of Calc is then 'End Task' button in Taskmanager

The problem is on Windows7 (64-bit),

When tested on OpenSUSE11.1 with the same version op LO things are OK

There are several issues in OOo Issuetracker about a crash when calling the number tab in dialog format > cell. Issues 109681 and 114245 seem to be the most relevant. Issue 114245 claims to have solved the problem with CWS ooo33gsl08, which is integrated in OOo3.3 m8. Does LibO contain those solutions too?

btw, just to be clear on this,
the popup to show the format options, does not show

I've just tested on Windows Vista 32 bit and there is no freeze at all
Comment 4 Luuk 2011-01-31 03:19:21 UTC
I just remove my OpenOffice 3.2 installatiion, and my LibreOffice installation,
and reinstalled LibreOffice (same version)

Now its working as it should. The problem has somehting to do with both office version running one one computer.

marking this as 'resolved/fixed'

On request reopened, because it should be possible to have OO next to LO

I've installed OOo 3.3 (first) and LibreOffice 3.3 (second) on Windows Vista HE, but I cannot reproduce this issue anyway. It works as expected.

Maybe it isn't a "Windows (All)" problem.

Let's close this as this is no longer reproducible by the reporter.
Comment 8 Luuk 2011-02-16 00:18:23 UTC
It was re-opened because another software-package (like OpenOffice) should not influence the installation and good working for LibreOffice.

If it does have (a negative) influence then at least a proper warning message should be shown.
