Created attachment 42804 [details] A one-page template Have too wait for 10-20 second before the template (1 page, an almost empty file) is loaded. Did't have such problem with previous OOo.
NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.3.0 RC4 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (build 6 / tag 3.3.0.4)]". Double click in WIN explorer loads sample document within 1 second. Linux specific? @sndpete24@gmail.com: May be you should not load via 300 baud Modem? ;-) We need much more information concerning your system, LibO installation and a detailed step by step instruction. Please report with status UNCONFIRMED if you are not absolutely sure that your problem will be reproducible.
(In reply to comment #1) > May be you should not load via 300 baud Modem? ;-) No, it's a local template. It will be loaded every time I want to start a new document. The template was created using OOo 3.2.1. I had an approx 1 sec of waiting before OOo would load it (anyway, didn't notice much of a difference) and a random time of waiting in LO (1-20 secs), don't know why. Each time the program was already launched. Maybe it is actively using memory cache, but 20 sec for a new document is too much. > We need much more information concerning your system, LibO installation and a > detailed step by step instruction. LibreOffice 3.3.0 OOO330m19 (Build:6) tag libreoffice-3.3.0.4 LO was installed using the following: echo 'deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/gericom/libreoffice /' | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 890E7A26 sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libreoffice3* Then I installed langpack and helpack in Russian from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/. (In reply to comment #1) It appears that the lag is caused by the extension LanguageTool.
