Spreadsheet with date values changing between sessions

When I create a spreadsheet containign cells formatted as a date with the full month name and a four-digit year (MMMM JJJJ in my locale; it would be MMMM YYYY in english locales), the date changes between sessions.
This spreadsheet file contains 12 sheets, one for each month of the year. I started filling them with January to December 2011, upon opening the file, the dates had changed to December 2006-November 2007.

I would expect the date values to stay the values I entered.
This is reproducible on my system, spreadsheet file attached.

What surprises me: The dates went down 4 years and 1 month (49 months) in each sheet, resulting in a basically correct order of dates - just having the wrong values...

Date values not changing between sessions

There is a workaround to this issue, though:

Prepending the date values with a single quote (maybe double quote works as well?) keeps the date values from being changed between sessions.

Still, I would not expect this behavior.

Hi Niklas,

I cannot reproduce this.
I download your date_changes.ods,
change locale of the style default to German
Select D2 on Januar, choose default formatting
Choose formatting, set to date / MMMM YYYY
Now shows Januar 2011 again, but right aligned
Close and open spreadsheet > date still OK

So ???
