Jeff committed the patch, but we'll need to expose this to the wrappers some way.

Albert, we can close this bug now, right?  The Qt wrapper still needs to expose
this functionality for kpdf to be able to use it, but that's a different issue.

Ok, let's close the bug, but remember, i WANT my branch, the fontconfig commit 
is already a week past over the "timeout" commit.
