Description OfficeUser 2011-02-15 13:24:12 UTC
Hi,

please...

- Make sure that the clipboard is empty or does NOT contain text (bitmap etc. is ok)

- Open Calc

- Watch the toolbar which contains the paste button while pressing F2:

It "jumps". The reason is that while the paste button grays out, the drop down arrow vanishes.

Solution: In cell edit mode the paste button should gray out with drop down arrow preserved.

This bug turned out to be not edit-mode specific. If the clipboard is empty so that Calc also displays a grayed out paste button while not in edit mode; the drop down arrow is missing to.

So the conclusion is: Calc should not hide the drop down arrow for grayed out paste button. (To avoid "jumping" toolbars.)

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
