Description sasha.libreoffice 2011-02-24 04:26:45 UTC
On button Tab assigned function “Increase indent” for lists.
As I explained in bug 34649, it is big problem for me, that I can not change assigned function on button using Tools->Customize.
Please, add ability to change function for button Tab.
Or option to disable “Increase indent” for Tab.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

Hmm, in LO 3.5 the key TAB goes to the next cell in the table if the cursor is not at the beginning of the line, even if this line is numbered. In others words, TAB key increases indent only if the cursor is before the sentence.

Closing as NotABug. Please feel free to reopen if needed.

Best regards. JBF

I think this will be marked as WONTFIX as it's almost like asking the letter a to be changed. Tab has a purpose uniformly and stripping that out would be a royal pain with little gain.
