Description nen_duvel 2011-03-11 09:27:51 UTC
Alt+Enter - Inserting a new paragraph without numbering
... only works once.
So inserting multiple paragraphs without numbering with the keyboard shortcut is not possible. The button on the numbering toolbar allows inserting multiple paragraphs without numbering though.

If I understand the report correctly, the steps can be summarized as:

    1. Create a new document via LibO Writer

    2. Switch Bullet On and input some text in the first item

    3. Press <Alt>+<Enter> -> There's a new line without bullet appended below
    the first item

    4. Press <Alt>+<Enter> again, and again... ...

Actual result: there's no response.
Expected result: multiple empty lines are expected inserted.

Mark as enhancement request.

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

I found only one difference between Alt-Enter and button on toolbar:
button on toolbar allow us insert new line immediately after number, so we can produce this:
1.
  qwer
  asdf

and Alt-Enter not allow this. But this allow Shift-Enter.

Have I right understand problem, or problem is different?

Or You need disable numbering at all by shortcut. This can be done by press Enter.
Please, explain.

Thanks
