I have observed this behavior over several OO- and now LibOffice releases: When using an index and outline numbering, some types of outline numbering are marked as miss-spelled in the index by the spell checker. This usually occurs when the outline is numbered in roman numbers, upper- or lowercase, above i/I: ii, iii, II, III It does not occur on the actual outline numbering, though.
