Created attachment 44982 [details] Calc file saved with LibO that can't be read correctly by Ms Jet engine Hello We're using Business Objects for report creation and data analysis. It's a business intelligence software that reads data from a database and/or from an Excel file. If you use an Excel file as source it uses the Microsoft Jet engine to read data, AFAIK. To date I've used OpenOffice.org to edit the Excel file but recently I tried to switch to LibreOffice. But saving the Excel file with LibreOffice seems somehow to corrupt the data, because Business Objects now reads the most of cells as empty or zero. If i save the original file with OpenOffice (any recent version) it is read correctly by B.O./Jet engine. I have difficult to provide more details, except than attaching the Excel file saved with LibO. As said, AFAIK, Business Objects uses the Jet engine to read data from Excel, that is the same engine used by Ms Access, at least until some years ago. You could try to reproduce the problem with Access. The sheet used to read data from the Excel file is "Totale", that is filled with linked values from the other sheets. I have 30+ users that I would to switch to LibO but problems like this are vital to decide the switch. Thank you cianoz
