Petr, this could be for you.

I see the same problem also in Impress.

Radek, you did some hacking around this. Could you please have a look?

Hmm - so this of course works for me on SLED11, building myself. Having said that - lots of files are mis-identified as sound when they are video (which is odd).

Yifan: It would be good to get some console output for SLED11 - and/or perhaps running with LD_DEBUG=files:symbols ./soffice and trawling through the log to see what gstreamer libraries it opens, and whether we have simple linking errors there.

The problem seems gone in 3.4 beta5.

Hi Petr/Michael,

Please close it if no more concern here :) Thanks!

Michael,

This was reproduced before in a build Petr specifically made for sled 10 (libreoffice-3.4.0-1).

So it could be better to get the log here for review? It is too big, so I just attached the last 2000 lines. Please let me know if anything more is valuable for looking into.

Ah, this is very old build. Yifan, could you please test it with the last official build from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/ ?

Hi Petr,

Ye, I pasted the log for possible more assurance to
see if we knew where the problem was :)

As stated in c#4, the problem is not there in 3.4 beta5
on either SLED 10 or SLED 11 fdo build.

OK, let's close the bug for now. Feel free to reopen it if you see it with further versions again.

Note that the tested build was created in my SLED10 chroot but with plain build configuration => it was neither the official plain build nor the official Novell build. IMHO, it does not make sense to spend time on debugging at this point.
