Description Oliver Pabst 2011-04-23 03:46:25 UTC
Under some circumstances styles aren´t applied correctly in LO:Writer.

Steps to reproduce:
1.) Create a new document in LO:Writer
2.) Add a headline, using the style "Heading1", name the headline however you want
3.) Create a list using bullets. Add two entries to the list, "TOP1 and "TOP2", make the second entry bold
4.) Add a new headline, using style "Heading1". Though the same style is used as for the first headline, the second one is not bold.

A sample document is added as an attachment.

Using LO 3.3.4.1 on OSX...

I have modified a style (first style) and chosen a different style (second style) in the "Organizer" tab as the "next style". Using the carriage return at the end of the first style gives me a new paragraph with the *name* of the second style, however with the *attributes* of the first style.

I have found similar behavior in LibreOffice Writer, 3.4.4 using a Windows 7 operating system.

My issue is with the Bullets and Numbering Paragraph Style functionality.

The Bullets and Numbering 'paragraph style' does not work as well as the 'list style'

The entire problem/issue is shown in video: http://youtu.be/tD76C0s3TAI

Please review the video and let me know if the functionality is working as you intended.

After not hearing anything on this for two weeks, I sent an e-mail to the LibreOffice Users Mailing List. Miroslaw Zalewski from the Document Foundation responded that this was the way LibreOffice works.
