If I run a presentation with LibreOffice 3.4-Beta4 (x64) on my openSUSE 11.3-x64 there were no animated slide changes shown. This works for all animations, which are not 3-D-Animations only, if I deactivate the hardware acceleration. The 3-D-Animations doesn't work with and without hardware acceleration. Both types of slide change animations works fine with LibreOffice 3.3.2 inside the same environment. Therefor it is a regression for me. I asked on the list and get a response from Andre Schnabel that it works on Windows. Thus only LibO on Linux seemed to be affected, but I don't know currently anything about Mac yet.
any chance of an example document? also details about your graphics card could be useful, cc'ing thorsten ( ah he already in the cc ) actually probably thorsten is the best assignee
I am sorry, it is not base function, so it can't be a blocker, see http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Release_Criteria Please, provide the infomation requested in the comment #1. Also, did you use the official Libreoffice 3.3.2 packages from http://www.libreoffice.org/download or the native packages from openSUSE repository?
Hi Petr, I use always the vanilla versions from LibreOffice. I think the slide animation is a basic feature in a presentation program. Thus it is a blocker for me.
The problem (no 3D-slide transitions)occurs also with -openSUSE 11.4, LibO 3.4.2 (openSUSE release) -openSUSE 11.4 LibO 3.5.0 (compiled from master) -Ubuntu (version unknown), LibO 3.4.4 *) -Mac OSX, LibO version unknown *) *) via NL-LibO user-forum, mail address known by me Why do the keywords contain NEEDINFO?
This looks fixed in 3.4.4, see also https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=728559 Petr, any chance to update the opensuse packages?
Damn, mid-air collision - Petr, ^^^ ;)
RESOLVED, FIXED or CLOSED bugs cant be KEYWORD NEEDINFO.
