I have several files that I use for data analysis at work that were made with an earlier OOo version (pre Oracle) that crash on me. What happens is I have a chart (x-y scatter plot) that has trend lines (some with linear regression lines and some with power regression lines). I copy to a new file. I delete from the new file all the old data (the range defined for the chart's x values) and it crashes. Recovery seems to work, and then when I start entering new data it crashes on the first x value. If I enter my new data into a text file, and then clipboard copy/paste I don't get the error. I just tried creating a new version of one of my files from scratch using LibO3.3.2 (PortableApps version). I entered dummy data to be able to create the trend lines I want. I deleted all the x data, and got a crash as soon as I attempted to duplicate the sheet. I'm no developer, but it seems to me to be an un-trapped arithmetic error (divide by zero?) in the trend line routine when there aren't enough data-points available to calculate the defined trend line.
could please provide step by step instructions to reproduce the bug. e.g. a) enter xyz into cells a1:f13 etc., b) click insert | new | | foo etc. or provide a document that has some or all initial the data and some detailed steps to create the plot ( sorry I have little clue about charts ) and to trigger the crash, that would be really helpful
